Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Design Strategy Manager to lead the design strategy and technical assurance for large reservoir projects.

The role sits client-side across engineering, delivery, commercial, procurement and regulatory teams, ensuring strategy, requirements and assurance are coherent and well communicated. You will coordinate design development through multi-stakeholder collaboration, with a focus on safety, governance and delivery milestones within a major East of England

Qualifications

• Significant design/technical experience in senior roles of large design and build contractor procurements and management.
• Strong project management skills demonstrated in complex programmes.
• Design leadership at both detailed engineering and system level.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Design Strategy for the programme, aligning with DCO, Reference, ECI and enabling works.
• Define and maintain Client Requirements and ensure efficient delivery across workstreams.
• Coordinate Technical Assurance activities and oversee scoping, progress, and procurement inputs.
• Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, commercial, procurement and regulatory.
• Drive a zero-accident culture and ensure health, safety and wellbeing policies are followed.
