Job summary

BUUK Infrastructure is seeking a Design & Records Trainer to equip staff with knowledge, practical skills and motivation for work tasks. You will deliver training to the Design & Records Office and support ongoing improvement of employees' skills, enabling potential within the department.

The role provides multi-utility design support and works with the Training Manager. Key duties include developing programmes, expanding and managing training, delivering training, creating e-learning packages,

Qualifications

• Recognised training qualification such as TQUK Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience in developing training materials to QCF Level 3 Education and Training standard.
• Working knowledge of legislation, technical standards, specs and codes relating to multi-utility design and technical records.
• Awareness of safe design and operational management for gas, water, electricity and fibre networks per company procedures.
• Ability to prepare company procedures reflecting legislative and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop training programmes and material.
• Assist the Design & Records Manager with design and expansion of training programs.
• Deliver training and devise a training strategy for the Design Office.
• Create and revise e-learning packages as needed.
• Maintain program updates in response to process changes and regulations.
• Ensure confidentiality of training development and staff records.
• Undertake audits and collate data/reports as required.
• Test and roll out new design systems with staff.
