Job summary

O’Neill and Brennan is seeking a Design Manager to join a well-established Tier 1 main contractor. The role is contract-based for a minimum of 6 months and likely to extend due to volume of public sector projects.

The position is based in Berkshire with 2–3 days office work, site visits, and some remote work. The successful candidate will have 5+ years post graduate experience, UK architectural or construction qualification, and experience with MOD/public sector schemes across education,

Qualifications

• Experience with main contractors on public sector projects.
• 5+ years post graduate experience.
• Experience with MOD and other public sector sectors (education, healthcare, government, prisons, MOJ).

Responsibilities

• Lead design management on contract projects for a main contractor.
• Work office-based 2–3 days per week, with site visits and remote work.
• Contribute to a 12-month project valued at £12m in Berkshire.
