Job summary

Talk Recruitment is seeking a Design Manager (Education Project) to lead design management on a major Essex education scheme. The role involves coordinating design inputs with the main contractor, architects and engineers to meet programme deadlines and ensure quality across all design packages.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in building sector projects, experience with D&B or design management roles, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in building sector projects, especially with main contractors.
• Previous roles as Design Co-ordinator, D&B Co-ordinator, D&B Manager or Design Manager.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design management for an education sector project (Essex).
• Coordinate design deliverables with architects, engineers and main contractor teams.
• Ensure design outputs align with programme, budget and quality requirements.
