Job summary

The Design Manager role is based in Hertfordshire and oversees design delivery on a c£20m education sector project for a leading Main Contractor. You will coordinate early feasibility through to on-site delivery, liaising with clients and external consultants to meet timelines and budgets.

We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years in design management, a relevant degree (Architecture/Civil Engineering/Construction Management), and a strong run of delivering compliant, high-quality designs for

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a design management role for a Main Contractor.
• Education, Leisure, Commercial, Healthcare, Life Science sector exposure desired.
• Relevant degrees/certifications in architecture/engineering/construct- management or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a liaison between the design team, client, and on-site delivery team.
• Ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Driving efficient design process aligned with project timelines and commercial targets.
