Job summary

A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd seeks a Design Manager to oversee the design process across two to three live projects near Hitchin. You will ensure drawings and technical information are coordinated, practical to build, and issued on time, while preempting design queries to prevent site delays.

Role requires coordinating with site, pre-construction, commercial and project teams, managing buildability, and maintaining timely information flow to on-site teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Design Manager or similar role within construction.
• Strong coordination of drawings and technical information across teams.
• Ability to manage deadlines and multi-project design workflows.
• Experience with main contractor, design-build environment or consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage design on D&B projects.
• Coordinate drawings and information between architects, engineers and subs.
• Attend site regularly to resolve design queries and issues.
• Oversee buildability reviews and technical checks.
• Ensure timely approvals and information flow to site.
