Job summary

A.D.S Construction Personnel Ltd in Letchworth is seeking an Architect looking to move into Design Management with a regional main contractor. You will join a supportive design team and help coordinate drawings and information, learning the contractor side while delivering on live projects.

The role covers two to three live projects across education, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors, with office days and on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Architect moving to contractor-side Design Management.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and the design process.
• Experience coordinating architects, engineers and subcontractors.
• Ability to manage deadlines and keep design information moving across several projects.
• Practical approach to buildability and resolving technical issues on site.
• Interest in taking a broader role in how projects are coordinated and built.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design process on D&B projects with support from the wider design team.
• Coordinate drawings and technical information between architects, engineers and specialist subcontractors.
• Attend site regularly to help resolve design queries and technical issues.
• Oversee buildability reviews and technical checks.
• Ensure timely approvals and information flow to site.
• Work collaboratively with pre-construction, commercial and project teams.
