We're looking for Design Managers to join our Strategic Projects business at Kier Group.

This role will work on a major project in one of our core sectors, including Custodial, Healthcare, Life Science, and Defence.

Location: Rushden, Northamptonshire.

Hours: Full Time, Permanent.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Design Manager, you'll work within the Design team, supporting projects across various sectors including Commercial, Public Sector, and Health.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Management and delivery of design information in accordance with the agreed design programme and deliverable schedule.
• Providing design input during both preconstruction and construction stages of projects.
• Producing design programmes, scopes, responsibility matrices, appointments, and schedules.
• Attending and chairing meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.

This role is suitable for candidates with:

• Experience delivering high-value, complex design work from the main contractor perspective.
• Ability to organize, plan, program, and manage workloads effectively.
• Experience with site or contract procedures is an advantage.
