£65,000 - £68,000 + package (Car allowance: 10% of annual salary, private health scheme, pension, etc.)

My client is a well-established Tier 1 Main Contractor, with an office in Manchester and currently have a number of exciting new projects in place which they are looking for a Design Manager to join their Manchester region.

Design Manager Responsibilities:

1. As a Design Manager, you'll be working within the Design team, supporting them on projects across a variety of different sectors including Commercial, Public Sector, and Health.
2. Design input at both preconstruction and construction stages of projects.
3. The production of design programmes, design scopes, design responsibility matrices, appointments, and schedules.
4. Attending/chairing necessary meetings and workshops with internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

1. A proven background working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor.
2. Proven ability to manage projects and deliver quality work on time, within budget.
3. Previous experience of successful design management of construction schemes over £10m.
4. Relevant design or equivalent qualification.
