Job summary

The role reports to the Head of Mechanical Design and involves mentoring junior designers, collaborating with Aerodynamic and Stress teams, and supporting testing to validate solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum HND in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in industrial environment with a minimum of 4 years.

Responsibilities

• Design and CAD modelling of composite components.
• Analyse customer requirements and translate into detailed designs.
• Prepare detail designs and laminate books.
• Collaborate with Aerodynamic and Stress departments to ensure structural integrity.
• Mentor junior designers to uphold company standards.
• Support Test team to validate technical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with AS 9100D quality standards.
