To enable us to fully deliver our projects, we are looking for an experienced 11kv Connections Design Engineer to work client-side on projects from initial concept and feasibility through to procurement specification, construction, and commissioning.

Our Role

As an 11kv Design Engineer, you will act as an electrical designer for asset replacement and private customer projects. Liaising with our CAD resources, you will produce design drawings and work closely with Project Managers, Construction Engineers, and Design Engineers/Managers to ensure all projects meet the programme objectives of time, cost, and quality at each key milestone stage.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with primary substation level Electrical Plant Design (HV Vacuum Switchgear, Power Transformers up to 33kV);
• Protection and Control scheme design and integration experience;
• 11kV Primary level substation layout design experience;
• Earthing Design and SCADA integration experience;
• Experience of Network protection and modelling of networks including G99 applications/submissions.
