We are seeking an experienced 11kV Connections Design Engineer to work on client-side projects from initial concept and feasibility through to procurement, construction, and commissioning.

Our role

As an 11kV Design Engineer, you will serve as an electrical designer for asset replacement and private customer projects. Collaborating with our CAD team, you will produce design drawings and coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Engineers, and Design Engineering Managers to ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards at each milestone.

What we’re looking for

• Experience with primary substation level electrical plant design, including HV vacuum switchgear and power transformers up to 33kV;
• Protection and control scheme design and integration experience;
• 11kV primary substation layout design experience;
• Earthing design and SCADA integration experience;
• Knowledge of network protection, network modeling, and G99 applications/submissions.
