This role is focused on the design and development of diesel high-pressure fuel pumps, with hands-on involvement from concept through to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop high-pressure diesel fuel injection components

Create 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks

Use DFMEA and design analysis tools to ensure product robustness

Interpret simulation and test data to propose design improvements

Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing and internal teams across the product lifecycle

Support design reviews and prototype development

Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or equivalent experience)

5-10 years in a design or product development role

Strong understanding of GD&T, DFMEA, and precision engineering

Proficient with SolidWorks CAD

Clear communicator and confident collaborator across all levels
