Job summary

The Highfield Company seeks an experienced Design Draughtsperson to join a vibrant team in Nottinghamshire, Worksop. You will design and model manufacturing plant layouts, conveyors and associated steelwork using AutoCAD 2D/3D, Advance Steel or Tekla.

Salary £35k–£45k depending on experience, with 25 days holiday plus eight statutory holidays, pension, loyalty bonus and training packages. For details, contact Rebecca Willis, detailing specialist.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling, mechanical engineering, structural and secondary steelwork.
• Experience with heavy duty conveyors, chutes, hoppers, and silo systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D and 3D layouts of manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3D layouts and models for manufacturing plants, including conveyors, chutes, hoppers and ductwork.
• Create detailed fabrication drawings and assemblies.
• Collaborate with detailing specialists to develop accurate designs.

Established for over 30 years, Our client are looking to recruit an experienced Design
Engineer/Draughtsperson to join their successful and vibrant team.

Experience in Material Handling, mechanical Engineering, structural and secondary steelwork.
Ideally previous experience in heavy duty conveyors, chutes, hoppers, silo's, pipe work, large ductwork,
structural steel, staircases, platforms etc.

Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Able to produce 3D layouts and models of manufacturing plants inc
conveyor systems, chutes, hoppers, silos, access steelwork. With a working knowledge of Advance Steel or Tekla, other 3D software would be advantageous.
