Job summary

The Highfield Company in Worksop is seeking an experienced Design Draughtsperson to join a vibrant team. You will produce 3D layouts and models of manufacturing plants, including conveyors, chutes, hoppers, silos, pipes and ductwork, using AutoCAD 2D/3D.

Candidates should be proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D and have working knowledge of Advance Steel or Tekla; experience in material handling and structural steelwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D for plant layouts and models.
• Experience creating 3D layouts for conveyors, chutes, hoppers and ductwork.
• Working knowledge of Advance Steel or Tekla; other 3D software is a plus.
• Experience in material handling, mechanical and structural steelwork.

Responsibilities

• Produce 3D layouts and models of manufacturing plants, including conveyors and ductwork.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver precise draughting outputs.
• Maintain accurate drawings and documentation for projects.

Role: Design Draughtsperson

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Established for over 30 years, Our client are looking to recruit an experienced Design
Engineer/Draughtsperson to join their successful and vibrant team.

Experience in Material Handling, mechanical Engineering, structural and secondary steelwork.
Ideally previous experience in heavy duty conveyors, chutes, hoppers, silo's, pipe work, large ductwork,
structural steel, staircases, platforms etc.

Candidates must be proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D, Able to produce 3D layouts and models of manufacturing plants inc
conveyor systems, chutes, hoppers, silos, access steelwork. With a working knowledge of Advance Steel or Tekla, other 3D software would be advantageous.

Salary 35 -45k Dependant on Experience
