Job summary

Egis, via the Anthro joint venture with VVB Engineering, seeks a Project Director (Design) to lead the JV’s design function end to end. You will set the design strategy, oversee a multidisciplinary team of up to 100 engineers, and own design delivery, assurance, risk and commercial exposure at portfolio level.

You will represent design at the Anthro JV leadership team and interface with BBVS, HS2, Network Rail and other key stakeholders to ensure design excellence and on-time delivery across

Qualifications

• Extensive post-qualification experience in engineering/technical functions with leadership roles on major UK rail or infrastructure programmes.
• Experience leading design organisations of 100+ engineers across multiple concurrent packages on contracts valued at £250M+.

Responsibilities

• Set and own the design strategy for the Anthro JV across all MEPHFC packages.
• Lead a design organisation of up to 100 engineers and line-manage Senior Design Managers.
• Govern delivery of the MEPHFC design programme and manage risk across packages.
• Interface at senior level with BBVS, HS2, Network Rail and wider client community.
