The successful candidate will have prior experience of working in this type of environment, although this need not necessarily have been in a school. Flexibility, patience, and a polite manner are a must for the post-holder. This role is term time only, for 25 hours per week, 8am - 1pm plus 5 days, which will mainly be the inset days of the school. This is a fixed term contract until 31 August 2027.
The role will involve assisting and supporting the teaching and learning of Resistant Materials to ensure learners’ make progress. More specifically: cleaning and maintenance of equipment; administrative support with regard to health & safety; sourcing and preparing equipment and tools; assisting and guiding students during lessons.
