Job summary

Priory Academy seeks a Design and Technology Technician (Resistant Materials) to provide practical and technical support within the D&T faculty. The role involves assisting teachers, preparing materials and equipment, and helping maintain workshop safety and organisation.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work well as part of a team to support students' learning during term-time with INSET days. Application closing 6 October 2026.

Contract: 17 hours per week - term-time + INSET

Actual Salary: From £10386 per annum

Start Date: ASAP

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at Priory Academy for a Design and Technology Technician (Resistant Materials) to provide practical and technical support within the Design and Technology faculty.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, well-motivated and will work well as part of a team to ensure equipment and materials are maintained and set up in advance to support our Design & Technology teachers. They will be organised and have the ability to work with young people to support their learning and development.
