Job summary

Teaching Personnel are seeking Design & Technology teachers to work across secondary schools in Sheffield. This role offers flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities for both ECTs and experienced teachers, with competitive pay and dedicated consultant support.

You will deliver engaging DT lessons across KS3 and KS4, manage lessons effectively, and contribute to pupil progress while benefiting from free CPD and varied school settings.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards QTS.
  • Specialism in Design & Technology or related subject.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and practical lessons.
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Design & Technology Teachers to work across secondary schools in Sheffield. Whether you are an ECT looking to gain valuable classroom experience or an experienced teacher seeking greater flexibility, we have a range of opportunities available.

The Role

As a Design & Technology Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of Sheffield schools, teaching engaging and practical lessons across KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, supporting pupil progress and creating a positive learning environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for ECTs to build confidence, develop classroom experience and gain exposure to different school environments, with the potential to secure longer-term or permanent positions.
