L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty Division is seeking a Dermatology Medical Representative to drive uptake of innovative dermo-cosmetic products across a defined territory in the UK. You will cultivate relationships with dermatologists, GPs, nurses and pharmacists, delivering scientific education and coordinating with formulary committees to secure product inclusion.

The role requires a degree, strong medical sales experience in dermatology, and proven ability to educate stakeholders.

Formación

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent), with the ability to comprehend science and medicine
• Full understanding of the UK healthcare environment and its commercial implications for dermo‑cosmetic companies
• Proven track record in medical sales, ideally within dermatology
• Experience in primary care, secondary care, and key account management is highly desirable
• Proven experience delivering impactful medical educational events, live and virtually
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
• Proactive and results‑oriented, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
• High level of IT competence for reporting systems and Microsoft Office applications

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute Territory Action Plans and Hospital Account Plans to identify and prioritise key accounts and opportunities
• Influence product usage and secure recommendations from primary and secondary care prescribers and influencers
• Engage with formulary committees and key decision‑makers to advocate for product inclusion on approved formularies and protocols
• Build and maintain credible, lasting relationships with dermatologists, GPs, dermatology specialist nurses, and pharmacists
• Conduct impactful medical detailing sessions, in‑person and virtually, providing scientific and clinical education on products
• Develop advocates for speaker meetings and educational events, including attending national congresses
• Maintain advanced product knowledge, including clinical papers, scientific advancements, and competitor activity
• Set and review SMART objectives with the Regional Business Manager and manage territory budgets, reporting, and administration in line with policy
