Job summary

Uniphar is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader for our Derby facility to steer daily operations, staffing and safety. You will drive efficient workflows, coordinate receipt, storage and dispatch, and maintain accuracy across goods in/out and stock taking.

The role requires proven leadership, strong problem-solving skills and a solid background in supply chain, with a focus on delivering high standards of service and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Sufficient proven experience as a supervisor or team leader in an operational service delivery role.
• Preferably from a pharmaceutical industry or a supply chain background.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team with clear direction.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused mindset.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe working environment and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality procedures.
• Oversee daily staffing, planning and workflow to meet orders on time.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Supervise order picking, goods in/out with accuracy and minimal damage.
• Manage stock takes and maintain stock accuracy against the WMS.
• Coach and develop direct reports to deliver high-quality service.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity.
