365 People Ltd. in Lutterworth, Leicestershire, is seeking a Deputy Warehouse Team Leader to support the Section Leader in a busy, multi-section distribution operation.

You will lead warehouse operatives, drive productivity against KPIs, and ensure HSE compliance while adapting to daily changes in priorities and plans.

The role offers a permanent, full-time days pattern with a 4 on 4 off cycle and opportunities for progression into warehouse leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Section Leader in managing the daily warehouse operation across all sections.
• Leading, motivating and developing teams of warehouse operatives, moving between areas as priorities change.
• Allocating work and monitoring productivity throughout the shift.
• Delivering departmental KPIs for productivity, quality and service.
• Running daily team briefings and communicating changing operational priorities clearly.
• Carrying out return to work interviews and supporting attendance management.
• Assisting with investigations and disciplinary processes where required.
• Maintaining high Health & Safety standards.
• Spotting opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Working closely with other departments to hit customer service targets.
• Deputising for the Section Leader during absence.

Job Title: Deputy Warehouse Team Leader - Days

Location: Lutterworth, Leicestershire

Salary: £29,000

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Days, 4 on 4 off, 06:00 to 18:00

The Role

A fast-paced distribution operation in Lutterworth is looking for a Deputy Warehouse Team Leader to work across all sections of the warehouse. If you are a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or Shift Supervisor ready for a bigger challenge, this role supports the Section Leader with the day-to-day running of the operation and leads teams of operatives wherever the shift needs them most.

This is not a steady ship. The business is growing quickly, priorities change mid-shift, plans get rewritten on the day, and new systems and structures are on the way. It suits someone who finds that energising and can keep a calm head while things move. Anyone after a predictable routine where every day looks the same will not enjoy it, and this is not a role for a plodder.

What's needed

• Experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Senior Warehouse Operative or similar leadership role
• Experience leading teams in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Experience working to productivity and performance KPIs
• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable adapting quickly when plans change

Desirable

• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Continuous Improvement experience
• MHE qualifications (advantageous, not essential)
