Priory Hospital Dewsbury is seeking a Deputy Ward Manager to join the Jubilee Ward. This full-time, site-based role offers £47,395 per year and involves leading a dedicated nursing team under the Ward Manager to deliver high-quality care.

Active RMN registration is required; the role excludes newly qualified nurses. Based in Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, the hospital provides rehabilitation services across two wards for male patients with mental health disorders.

Qualifications

• Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (RMN qualified).
• Trained Assessor or Supervisor.
• Clinical Supervison experience essential; training desirable.

This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.

Priory Hospital Dewsbury is looking to recruit a Deputy Ward Manager to join the team on the Jubilee Ward. This is a full time position of 40 hours per week.

Based in the residential area of Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, Priory Hospital Dewsbury provides level 2 rehabilitation services divided into two wards. Care is for male patients who have mental health disorders and we also offer neuropsychiatry support, support for older people and dementia, community-focused rehabilitation, and support for severe and enduring mental health.

Although Dewsbury is not a 24/7 acute hospital, we are well-placed to provide support to acute patients within our dementia services, for those who require an alternative setting to an acute psychiatric ward. Admissions can also take place due to other placement breakdowns (either from their home or other care environment), or from prison settings.
