Priory Hospital Cardiff is recruiting a Deputy Ward Manager to join our team.

Our Shift Pattern is: 07:45 - 19:30

Priory Hospital Cardiff is a modern mental health treatment unit with facilities such as secure gardens, a gym, hydrotherapy pool, patient kitchens, social areas, art rooms, and support services. The unit provides bespoke treatment for patients with complex mental health needs, promoting independence within a supportive environment.

The role of a Charge Nurse is to provide senior nursing leadership to support the Clinical Lead and Unit Manager.

The Successful candidate will:

• Have clinical and leadership experience to support the nursing team.
• Respond flexibly to service needs.
• Depute in the absence of the ward manager, demonstrating willingness to expand roles.
• Model core Priory values and set clear expectations.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Abilities

• Registered Nurse with active NMC PIN and 2 years post-qualifying experience.
• Relevant clinical experience.
• Positive attitude and commitment to quality improvement.
• Flexible and innovative practice approaches.
