Country House Weddings Ltd. is seeking a Deputy Venue Manager for Holmewood Hall, Peterborough, on a 9-month fixed-term contract. You will support the Venue Manager in daily operations, ensuring exceptional service and flawless event delivery.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years in customer service, experience in hospitality or venue management, and availability for weekends and holidays. The role involves sales support, admin duties, and brand representation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' customer service experience.
• Hospitality, events, hotel or venue management experience desirable.
• Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays.

Responsabilités

• Support the Venue Manager in day‑to‑day operations and deliver high service standards.
• Lead by example and develop venue staff.
• Assist in planning meetings, show rounds and client communications.
• Support venue sales and help maximise bookings and revenue.
• Generate and amend invoices and manage event documents.
• Assist with Open Days, showcases and wedding events.
• Represent the brand and maintain professional communications.
