The Role

As Deputy Venue Manager, you’ll work closely with the Venue Manager to keep everything running smoothly and ensure every guest leaves with a smile (and maybe some glitter). Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Team: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-energy team that lives for hospitality and fun.
• Taking the Lead: Run shifts like a pro, ensuring the venue operates efficiently and up to brand standards.
• Driving Business: Assist in creating and implementing marketing initiatives, events, and promotions that keep Barbara’s buzzing.
• Managing Operations: Oversee stock, cash, and compliance, ensuring everything’s running like clockwork.
• Exceeding Expectations: Deliver impeccable guest service while maintaining the warm, quirky vibe that makes Barbara’s Bier Haus special.

What We’re Looking For

You’re the kind of leader who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment and knows how to inspire others. Here’s what we’re after:

• Experience: Ideally at least 1 year as a Deputy Manager or Senior Assistant Manager in a similar-sized venue within a branded bar environment.
• Energy: You’re a people magnet, bringing infectious positivity and energy to your team and guests alike.
• Hospitality Pro: You’ve got a track record of delivering exceptional service and impeccable standards.
• Problem-Solver: Quick thinking and cool-headed, you’re ready to tackle any challenge that comes your way.
• Licensing Knowledge: You hold a valid UK Personal Licence (or a willingness to obtain one) and have a strong grasp of licensing and compliance requirements.
