Central London Community Health Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6 Deputy Team Lead to join the Dacorum Community Nursing Team in Hertfordshire. You will co‑lead a neighbourhood team, supervise staff, and coordinate care for patients at home and in residential settings.

The role requires leadership, collaborative working, and flexibility. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential for travel between patient homes in the community.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with full and current UK NMC registration
• Evidence of recent and continuing post‑registration professional education and training
• Experience supervising junior staff and coordinating a team on a day‑to‑day basis
• Driving licence and access to a car for business use (where not restricted by Equality Act 2010)

Responsabilités

• Lead and supervise the nursing team and learners as required.
• Provide leadership and management across four localities in Herts Valleys.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised nursing care in patients' homes.
• Maintain patient and other records for the team.
• Responsible for a defined caseload and its ongoing management.
• Develop and maintain competencies within the team.
