Job summary
CLCH Hertfordshire Adult Community Services is seeking an experienced Band 6 Registered Nurse to join the St Albans & Harpenden Core Neighbourhood Nursing Team as Deputy Team Lead. You will co-lead the neighbourhood team, uphold high standards of home-based care, and support independence for patients in their own homes.
The role requires community nursing experience, leadership, and a full UK driving licence with access to a car for business use.
Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current UK NMC registration.
- Experience in community nursing is essential.
- Experience leading a team in a community setting.
- Evidence of teaching others.
- Knowledge of NMC code and NHS developments.
- Full UK driving licence with access to a car for business use.
Responsibilities
- Set and maintain standards of care; deploy, co-ordinate and supervise the nursing team and learners as required.
- Provide leadership to a team of community nurses and other staff across four localities.
- Manage a defined caseload; assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised nursing care in the community.
- Maintain patient records and documentation.
- Participate in long-term management of patients within the locality.
- Maintain and develop team competencies.
