Thera Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a Deputy Support Manager to assist the Support Manager in leading teams and delivering person-centred support that meets regulatory, contractual, and organisational requirements.

You will mentor teams, coach staff, lead shifts as Duty Manager, design support plans, manage rosters, maintain records, conduct audits and deputise for the Support Manager as needed. DBS checks are required for this role.

Qualificações

• Relevant Health and Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above (England) or SCQF 7 or above (Scotland).
• Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities.
• Leadership or coaching experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Confidence in using digital systems (e.g. Excel, care planning software).

Responsabilidades

• Mentor teams and coach support staff to deliver person-centred care.
• Lead shifts as Duty Manager and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support people to design and review their support plans.
• Assist with rota management and maintain records.
• Conduct audits and deputise for the Support Manager when needed.
• Promote empowerment, inclusion and independence for people we support.
