Job summary

Pets at Home Barrow is seeking a Deputy Manager to join our Barrow Pet Care Centre leadership team. You will help drive performance, lead day-to-day operations, and deliver exceptional service for pets and their people.

You’ll partner with the Store Manager to develop your team, manage stock and merchandising, and foster a welcoming environment. A proactive approach and people leadership are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience of running a team in a busy retail, hospitality or customer-focused environment.
• Experience with KPIs and driving team performance.
• Passion for people, coaching, developing and motivating others.
• Love for delivering great results and operational excellence.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; stay calm on busy days.
• Flexibility to work a 7-day rota including weekends and bank holidays.

Responsibilities
