Job summary

Aldi is seeking a Deputy Store Manager in the United Kingdom to lead store operations and drive sales while maintaining high customer service standards. You will support the Store Manager, train colleagues, ensure displays are checked, and help achieve store KPIs within a busy retail environment.

The role offers real responsibility and serves as a stepping stone towards a Store Manager position, with a focus on leadership, cost control, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience managing teams in fast-paced, customer-focused environments.
• Skilled in time management and cost control.
• Motivated to achieve and exceed targets consistently.
• Strong customer service and compliance skills.
• Previous Store Management experience is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Run the store in the absence of Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Deliver excellent customer service that goes beyond expectations.
• Support the Store Manager to boost employee engagement and meet store KPIs.
• Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation consistently.
• Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits.
• Ensure Health & Safety and due diligence standards are maintained.
