Job summary

Aldi is seeking a Deputy Store Manager in the UK to drive sales, deliver excellent customer service, minimise costs, and improve operational efficiency. You will support the Store Manager by training colleagues, inspecting displays, and helping achieve store targets.

This role offers real responsibility and provides the stepping stone for experienced team leaders progressing towards a store management position within the Aldi network. Flexible hours and development are offered.

Responsibilities

• Run the store in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.
• Deliver excellent customer service that goes beyond expectations.
• Support the Store Manager to boost employee engagement and meet store KPIs.
• Monitor product quality and manage stock rotation.
• Oversee till cashing up and safe deposits.
• Ensure Health & Safety and due diligence standards are maintained.
