Job summary

Zachary Daniels is recruiting for a Deputy Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager at Stansted Airport, a leading global travel retailer. The role focuses on supporting the Store Manager to drive sales, lead a team and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced airport environment.

The position offers a 3 or 4-day working week with consecutive days off and every other weekend off, plus a generous salary and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Deputy Manager, Assistant Store Manager or similar role.
• Background in fast-paced retail or customer-focused sales.
• Strong understanding of sales targets, KPIs and performance.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and hands-on leadership style.
• Flexibility to work shifts between 10am and 10pm.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and motivate a team to deliver sales targets and KPIs.
• Support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Drive sales, conversion, customer service and standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance and profitability.
• Develop colleagues through feedback and succession planning.
• Maintain merchandising, stock management and compliance standards.
• Take responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence.
