Job summary

Zachary Daniels is recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join a popular beauty retailer at Stansted Airport. You will work alongside the Store Manager to create an engaging customer experience and support the team.

In this hands-on role you’ll coach colleagues, manage daily operations, stock, rotas and KPIs, deputise when needed, and help drive sales in a fast-paced airport environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail supervisory or management position.
• Ability to coach, motivate and guide a team.
• Understanding of retail sales targets, KPIs and commercial performance.
• Hands-on approach and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong communication skills and customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager with day-to-day running of the store and overall team performance.
• Encourage and motivate colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Be hands-on on the shop floor, supporting customers and helping the team maximise sales opportunities.
• Assist with coaching, training and developing team members.
• Coordinate rotas, stock management, deliveries and other daily operational tasks.
• Monitor sales and KPIs, identify areas for improvement with the Store Manager.
• Ensure the store remains well presented and aligned with brand standards.
• Deputise for the Store Manager when required.
