Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a Deputy Service Manager to lead our residential service in Johnstone. You will oversee a dynamic team, drive person-centred plans, and support independence for the people we support.

You will manage staff, conduct assessments, recruit and induct new colleagues, complete supervision and appraisals, and participate in medication audits. An on-call rota may be required, with a hands-on approach to care management.

Qualifications

• Experience in care management roles.
• Ability to develop person-centred support plans.
• Experience with team leadership and supervision.
• Knowledge of medication administration and audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team to deliver high-quality care.
• Develop and implement person-centred support plans.
• Conduct care needs assessments and reviews.
• Recruit, induct, supervise and appraise staff.
• Complete medication competencies and medication audits.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and prepare reports.
• Support Registered Manager in day-to-day service operations.
• Participate in on-call rota as required.
