The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Deputy Manager to support the Service Manager at Dereham and Attleborough Day Services. The role covers daily operations, person-centred support, and quality audits, with responsibility for recruiting and motivating the care team.

You will participate in on-call duties, ensure regulatory compliance, and help plan resources across services while maintaining high standards of care for adults with learning disabilities and older people.

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Must hold Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Access to a vehicle insured for business use.
• No visa sponsorship required to work in the UK.

Description du poste

Deputy Manager post supporting the Service Manager at Dereham and Attleborough Day Services, which offer day opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and older people. The role covers the day-to-day running of the service, person-centred support, quality audits and helping to recruit, develop and motivate the care team. Post holders must cover an out-of-hours on-call rota including evenings and weekends, and regular travel needs a full driving licence and a business-insured vehicle. Applicants requiring sponsorship to work in the UK cannot be considered, as the employer holds no sponsorship licence.
