Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd in Southwark is seeking an experienced Deputy SENCO for a secondary school role to coordinate and develop support for students with additional needs. The successful candidate will contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews, referrals and personalised learning plans within a collaborative Learning Development team.

You will work closely with the SENCO to ensure effective communication with families and external professionals, driving quality provision and improved outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND is essential.
• Knowledge of EHCPs and annual reviews desirable.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Passion for improving outcomes for students with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and develop support for students with additional needs.
• Contribute to EHCP/EHCNA processes, annual reviews, referrals.
• Maintain parental communication and targeted interventions.
• Ensure effective communication between staff, families and external professionals.
