Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd in Southwark is seeking an experienced Deputy SENCO for a secondary school role to coordinate and develop support for students with additional needs. The successful candidate will contribute to EHCPs, annual reviews, referrals and personalised learning plans within a collaborative Learning Development team.

You will work closely with the SENCO to ensure effective communication with families and external professionals, driving quality provision and improved outcomes

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND is essential.

The Role - Deputy SENCO

As Deputy SENCO, you will work closely with the SENCO to coordinate and develop support for students with additional needs. The successful Deputy SENCO will contribute to EHCP/EHCNA processes, annual reviews, referrals, Personal Learning Plans, parental communication and targeted interventions.

The Deputy SENCO will also help ensure students receive appropriate support and that effective communication is maintained between staff, families and external professionals.
