Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a proactive Deputy SENCO to support the SENCO in delivering high-quality SEND provision within a thriving school in London.

You will work with teaching staff, parents, and external partners to implement effective support strategies and promote inclusive learning across the school. With experience with SEND and EHCPs, you will lead interventions, monitor pupil progress, and contribute to staff training.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
• Experience supporting students with EHCPs and additional learning needs.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

The Role

As Deputy SENCO, you will support the SENCO in ensuring that students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive high-quality provision and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teaching staff, parents, external agencies, and pastoral teams to implement effective support strategies and promote inclusion across the school.
