Qualifications

The Deputy Superintendent Radiographer / Trainee Reporting Radiographer will undertake formal postgraduate training to perform, interpret and report Adult Contrast Swallow examinations, in line with an agreed scope of practice, local governance arrangements and competency requirements.
The post-holder will deputise for the Superintendent Radiographer for Fluoroscopy, Interventional Radiology in their absence, and will support the safe, efficient and effective running of the fluoroscopy and interventional radiology service.

Responsibilities

Support the safe, effective and efficient delivery of fluoroscopy and interventional radiology services while undertaking formal postgraduate training to develop as a reporting radiographer.
As a progression post, appointed as Band 6 with uplift to Band 7 upon completion of the attached progression checklist within 12–24 months.
