Job summary

MTrec Ltd Technical is seeking a Deputy Quality Assurance Manager to lead and coordinate the FSQMS, support audits (BRCGS/Halal) and HACCP activities. The role involves driving CAPA, investigations and continuous improvement across food safety and quality functions.

You will mentor QA Coordinators and technicians, work with QC, Hygiene and Operations, and help manage traceability, recalls and environmental testing. On-site role with team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 HACCP qualification.
• Level 3 Food Safety in Manufacturing.
• Team management experience is essential.
• Internal Auditor Training and experience (BRCGS or equivalent).
• Experience leading HACCP investigations and implementing CAPA is essential
• Experience leading BRCGS audits, investigations, and corrective actions is essential

Responsibilities

• Support the management and coordination of the FSQMS.
• Co-ordinate internal audits and assist with external audits (BRCGS and Halal).
• Support HACCP plan management, review, planning and meetings.
• Assist with investigation of incidents, non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Support microbiological and chemical testing, environmental swabbing, sampling and review of results.
• Support traceability, recall and mass balance exercises.
• Provide day-to-day coaching and development to QA Coordinators and QA technicians.
• Collaborate with QC, Hygiene and Operations teams.
• Support scrape-down and clean-down planning activities.
• Assist in Pest Control System and Waste Management management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across food safety, quality and compliance
