Job summary

Peach Pubs is seeking a Deputy Manager to lead a busy gastro pub, overseeing shifts, coaching teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will partner with the General Manager to uphold standards, drive sales and manage day‑to‑day operations in a community pub environment.

You will be a proactive, commercially minded leader with a passion for hospitality, capable of developing talent and maintaining a welcoming, high‑performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in deputy/assistant/restaurant/bar/pub management or senior hospitality leadership.
• Passionate about hospitality and guest experiences.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills.
• Organised, hands-on and calm when leading busy services.
• Commercially aware with experience managing sales and labour.
• Ready to progress toward senior pub management.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the General Manager with day-to-day leadership of a pub.
• Taking ownership of shifts and leading the team with energy and care.
• Coaching, motivating and developing front of house team members and future leaders.
• Delivering warm, memorable guest experiences and high service standards.
• Managing sales, labour, stock, standards, compliance and team performance.
• Helping to drive revenue, guest satisfaction and commercial results.
