Job summary

Hydro International, part of CRH, is seeking a Deputy Operations Manager to support the delivery of engineering projects and wastewater services across the UK. You will work alongside the Area Manager, leading projects, developing teams, and driving performance in a critical water infrastructure business.

Ideally you will bring an engineering qualification and proven leadership in project delivery, with exposure to NEC3 contracts and strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Proven leadership in delivering engineering projects.
• Experience with NEC3 contracts and commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support the Area Manager in daily operations.
• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of engineering projects.
• Coach and develop operational and engineering teams.
• Prepare customer quotations and manage project budgets.
• Produce reports and programme plans to monitor delivery.
