As Deputy Operations Manager, you will act as the second-in-command to the Area Manager, helping to oversee daily operations while ensuring engineering projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards. Key responsibilities will include:
We're looking for a proactive and commercially aware leader who combines strong engineering expertise with excellent people management and project delivery skills. You'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities and motivating teams to achieve outstanding results. To succeed in this role, you'll ideally have:
Desirable experience includes Confined Space Entry certification, Manual Handling qualifications and knowledge of wastewater screening equipment and associated processes.
You’ll also need a full UK driving licence, be willing to travel to operational sites, participate in an emergency call-out rota and undertake occasional overnight stays when required.
