Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a Room Leader or Deputy Manager role.
• Understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements.
• Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the nursery
• Support and supervise staff, ensuring high standards of childcare and education
• Implement the EYFS framework and maintain required documentation
• Oversee safeguarding and health & safety protocols
• Build strong relationships with parents and external agencies
• Step up in the absence of the Nursery Manager

Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years in a Room Leader or Deputy Manager role
• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (essential)
• Sound understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and Ofsted requirements
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities
• Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training (desirable)
