LW Health Care is a fast growing Home Care Agency across North London
and Hertfordshire, with plans to deliver operations in other parts of the UK
in the next few months, is seeking a Care Coordinator, primarily to be based
at its head office in Harrow Weald.
Main duties:
Organise and coordinate Personal Assistants (carers) to attend and
deliver services to Service Users.
Ensure Personal Assistants arrive at Service Users homes at the prearranged
times.
Be main point of contact for all incoming queries.
Work and communicate with Personal Assistants, new and current
Service Users, family, relatives and other stakeholders.
In cases of staff shortages and in emergencies act in the role as Personal
Assistants ensuring pre-arranged care visits take place.
Participate in the Rota to manage the On-call phone on evenings and
weekends.
Assist in delivering the induction and training.
Support the Care Manager and Registered Manager with on-going work.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Care Coordinator with a
minimum of a relevant NVQ Level 2, excellent telephone manner with good
communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. They need to be
customer focused and must be able to multi task and work well under tight
deadlines and pressure. They will need to be flexible for the needs of the
business and work effectively with team members and on their own. They
must be self-motivated and be passionate about the care sector, customer
and carers.
Candidates must have a valid driving licence and ideally their own
transport.
