Job summary

Flow Sports Personnel Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded childcare provider for a Deputy Nursery Manager. The role offers a warm, supportive atmosphere and the opportunity to influence everyday care and education.

You will lead a team, implement EYFS, oversee planning and records, and build strong partnerships with parents, local authorities and safeguarding bodies. A NVQ Level 3 in childcare or equivalent, plus demonstrable leadership in a nursery, is required; a First Aid

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in childcare and education or equivalent required.
• Experience managing a nursery room or team is essential.
• Current First Aid certificate is required.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the EYFS.
• Oversee planning and record-keeping.
• Promote partnerships with parents and carers.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies and other agencies.
• Stay updated with developments in childcare and education policies.
• Assist with nursery accounts.
• Prepare for staff and parent meetings.
