Job summary

Shooting Stars Nurseries, Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, is seeking an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager to join our leadership team. You will support the Nursery Manager, lead across rooms, maintain high care and education standards, and act as Designated Officer in Charge in the Manager's absence.

Bring strong leadership, at least two years post-qualification EY experience, and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Minimum two years' post-qualification Early Years experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory experience within a nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the nursery in partnership with the Nursery Manager.
• Lead, inspire and develop colleagues across all rooms.
• Drive high-quality EYFS practice and continuous improvement.
• Support safeguarding, compliance and health and safety standards.
• Coach and mentor team members to reach their potential.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and external professionals.
• Support recruitment, inductions, training and staff development.
• Assist occupancy growth and showcase the nursery to prospective families.
