Job summary

Kido Windsor is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Windsor. You will support the Nursery Manager, lead day-to-day operations, and ensure high standards of care and education across the setting.

The role requires Level 3 childcare qualification with management experience in Early Years, plus Level 2 Maths and English. A 40-hour week with a discretionary bonus scheme is offered, alongside excellent development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 childcare qualification and have management experience in Early Years.
• Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English including functional skills are required if Level 3 obtained after 2014.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursery operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day running and high standards of care and education.
• Manage and develop staff through supervision, appraisals, coaching, training and induction.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and oversee safeguarding, training and child protection procedures.
• Maintain health and safety compliance, carry out risk assessments, fire drills, medication administration and secure records.
• Build strong relationships with families and provide exceptional customer service.
