Job summary

Kido Windsor is launching a new Nursery Room Leader role at our Windsor site. This full-time position (40 hours per week) offers a salary of £28,000–£33,000 per year. You will lead the team, uphold safeguarding, and drive an engaging curriculum with a focus on early years excellence.

We seek a Level 3 childcare qualification with management experience; Level 2 Maths/English may be required if Level 3 qualification was obtained after 2014. Sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Relevant childcare qualification Level 3 minimum and management experience in Early Years.
• Level 2 Maths and English qualifications if Level 3 qualification obtained after 2014.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities and communicate key information to team and parents.
• Be a positive role model by inspiring outstanding teaching and learning.
• Lead performance reviews with supportive feedback and SMART goals.
• Work with the Designated Safeguarding Lead to prioritise child safety.
• Lead an ambitious curriculum for the room to achieve outstanding education.
• Embed the key person and buddy key person approach in the room.
• Pursue continued professional development opportunities for you and your team.
